Our Technical Apprenticeship School focuses on maximising our links and opportunities with employers in key sectors, encompassing automotive, building services, digital and engineering and ensuring successful apprenticeship provision and future growth. Plus, as a WorldSkills UK Innovation Network member, we are supporting their drive to develop excellence in teaching and training, as well as equality, diversity and inclusion.

You will be responsible for the curriculum management of Electrical/Building Services across the Technical Apprenticeship School, building effective working relationships with employers and external bodies and ensuring the highest standard of quality assurance, whilst line managing a team of diverse lecturers and assessors.  

You will need a Level 3 qualification and a teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, DET) and Assessor qualifications. You will possess at least 3 years’ experience in teaching or assessing, with experience of meeting targets and ensuring successful outcomes. You will also have a good understanding of Apprentice/learner pathways into Standards and of apprenticeship programmes. You will need to have experience of delivering apprenticeships, together with the ability to engage and lead a team of people to achieve success.
