The Liverpool School of Architecture (LSA), University of Liverpool is seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Grade 7/8) on a permanent Teaching and Scholarship (T&S) contract to teach, and develop specialist scholarship in Architecture. Whilst the job focus is on architectural design a specialism in any one of the following areas would be desirable: sustainable design and construction, architectural technology and materials. You would also be expected to undertake administrative and leadership roles.
We are looking to appoint an outstanding mid-career professional at Grade 7 or 8 range (based on experience and expertise) with full professional qualification in Architecture (RIBA/ARB Part 3 or equivalent) and at least 10 years’ of post-qualification professional and relevant academic experience. You will contribute to teaching on Architecture programmes through design studio involvement and lectures and seminars.
The position is intended to be permanent, subject to satisfactory performance during a probationary period of 3 years in the first instance.
You should have a Masters level qualification or equivalent in a relevant area of expertise and evidence of continuous professional development. The possession of, or willingness to acquire within 3 years of appointment, a formal teaching qualification relevant to HE. A professional qualification and registration in Architecture.
