About The Role
The Bartlett School of Architecture is seeking to appoint a part-time Lecturer (Teaching) position in (BSc Y1 Architecture Design) on a 0.165 FTE
Working in the Department of Architecture at UCL involves delivering high-quality teaching across Year 1 design modules, fostering a collaborative studio culture, and aligning teaching materials with ARB/RIBA criteria.

About You
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality teaching in architectural design, specifically for Year 1 students, by leveraging their expertise in design, drawing, and making skills. They will contribute to module coordination, mentor students through their coursework, and ensure the teaching aligns with current ARB/RIBA accreditation criteria. The role requires the candidate to work collaboratively with peers, demonstrate empathy and understanding towards a diverse student body, and actively contribute to advancing equality, diversity, and inclusion within the department. Additionally, the candidate should be an active practitioner who can bring real-world experience to the students, fostering a critical design approach in their work.
