Ngā haepapa matua:

  • Ka rangahau haere tonu koe.

  • Ka whakaara ake i te tāhūhū ki waenga i ngā ahumahi, Kāwanatanga, mātanga me ngā hapori matahuhua.
  • Manawanui ana ki te mahi tahi me ō hoa mahi ki te whakawhanake i te Hōtaka, Kura me te Kura Waihanga i roto i ana mahi. 

The position calls for a strong design portfolio with a focus on te ao Māori as it relates to designed environments. You will also bring a reputation and profile as an accomplished researcher or professional with the capability to contribute to the leadership of the Māori Designed Environments major.

  • On-going research activity.
  • Academically rigorous teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Actively engage with industry, government, professions and diverse communities.
  • Contribute to the collegial development of the major, School and Faculty in service roles. 

Ō pūmanawa – About you 

E kaingākau ana ki ngā ki te whakaako i ngā tauira matahuhua me te mārama hoki ki te hohonutanga o te Ako (tau whakautuutu) i roto i tēnei momo. Me mārama koe ki ngā kōrero me ngā hiahia mohoā o ēnei rā e ai ki te kahupeka Waihanga, ā, e mātau ana ki te hanga taiao Māori, tae atu ki te ao toitūtanga. 

You are passionate about teaching a diverse range of students and appreciate the importance of Ako (reciprocal teaching and learning) to this environment. You will be familiar with contemporary discourse and demands in the field of Architecture, with expertise in Māori Designed environments and sustainability.
