In the role of Technician – Wet Trades you’ll mostly be based at Brunel House in our Construction department. Your focus will be on supporting teaching staff in running a safe and organised workshop environment for a wide range of learners. You will help to develop the next generation of bricklayers and plasterers by ensuring all equipment and materials are kept stocked up and well-organised ahead of their lessons and exams.
Ideally, you’ll have some experience working in a wet trade e.g. plastering or brickwork, alongside a relevant Level 2 or higher qualification, though full training will be given. It would also help if you already hold a Forklift Truck licence but, if not, this can be gained once in post.

Due to the nature of our work, it’s essential you’re committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
