BMW Concept 8 Series(2017) was presented at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, Italy.
Interior Design by Robert Hlinovsky.
I was a lead modeler of four team members for interior through out the whole process.
We started to make fast sketch model in Maya, then class A in Alias, and speaker detail on the dashboard using Rhino Grasshopper.
I enjoyed every single phase of this project. I modeled the dashboard, upper part of the door including the aluminum detail, and middle console. The seats were built in solely Maya, and I made adjustment of the seats. I made the Grasshopper detail as well. It was also very fun to build, the fading hexagon theme was simple yet interesting.
