Daydreamer Jewellery Range
Unconscious intentions articulated with instinctive form.
Daydreamer is a personal meditation on the subconscious mind, universal symbolism and its manifestation through creative instinct.
The creative act speaks to embodied wisdom, both learned and inherited, and ties us to place and to our humanity.
The geometry and material qualities of Daydreamer reflect two of the greatest ancient human symbols:
– The sun, the visual embodiment of light;
– The rainbow, an enduring image of hope and a frequent ephemeral phenomenon in my island of Tasmania.
The high shine, variable colours and angles generate an ambiguous relationship between body, environment and object. Jewellery, as a practice, occupies this space.
