The 4th International Triennial of Graphic Arts in Livno is taking place at the Franciscan Museum and Gallery Gorica in Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from June 26 to November 1, 2026. Curated by Željka Markov, the exhibition brings together 76 artists from 27 countries, presenting a diverse selection of contemporary graphic artworks.

Held under the theme “Graphic Arts as a Visual Catalyst for New Realities,” the triennial features 137 prints and artworks created using a wide range of traditional and contemporary techniques, including woodcut, linocut, etching, aquatint, drypoint, and mixed media.

The exhibition explores the role of printmaking as a powerful medium for reflecting on personal memory, social realities, and contemporary experiences. By bringing together artists from different cultural backgrounds, the triennial highlights the ability of graphic arts to create new visual perspectives and encourage dialogue between individual stories and broader social transformations.

A special highlight of the program is a tribute to renowned Bosnian artist Halil Tikveša, whose work and contribution to graphic art are celebrated as part of the exhibition.

The triennial offers visitors an international overview of contemporary graphic practices while demonstrating how printmaking can connect memory, identity, and social reality through innovative visual expression.
