The training includes smart development tools like VR and AR for effective stakeholder collaboration. Highlights include a VR case study of a European neighborhood development, potentially featuring Messina in Sicily, Italy, and Innovation Cards with AR extensions to inspire sustainable development measures.
Schedule and Location
The program begins on September 25, 2024, with online training and live sessions in October across Vienna, Barcelona, Brussels, and Milan. The training is free and includes access to all materials and tools. Additional workshops on peripheral and inner-city development are planned for January and June 2025.
Organizational Structure
The training is led by a European consortium with members from Austria, Belgium, Italy, and Spain, along with an associated partner from Ukraine. The program is initiated by Laura P. Spinadel from BUSarchitektur in Vienna, known for her work on the “compact city” concept.
