We’re putting American steel innovation in the spotlight–live on YouTube!

This year, a board of judges will choose three finalists in every classification. In December, those three finalists will introduce their works of art to the appointed authorities, live, and we’ll transfer it on YouTube for the world to see! The huge declaration will be a significant piece of NASCC: The Steel Conference in Denver (March 23-25), and every one of the finalists will be welcome to give a reprise of their last introductions during the meeting.

The victors will likewise be included in the May 2022 issue of Modern Steel Construction magazine. Notwithstanding significant press backing and exposure through AISC’s own print and online media, winning groups have the interesting chance to introduce their tasks to the AEC people group during unique online classes or live occasions consistently.

WHAT ARE THE IDEAS² AWARDS?

Supported by the American Institute of Steel Construction, the Innovative Design in Engineering and Architecture with Structural Steel (IDEAS²) Award program perceives projects that outline the intriguing prospects of working with underlying steel. The IDEAS² grants feature the creative utilization of primary steel in:

  • the accomplishment of the structure’s program
  • the expression of architectural intent
  • the application of innovative design approaches to the structural system
