International Building Design Competition 2023
IBDC 2023 hopes to provide a platform for students to learn and apply their knowledge on the three key areas identifies under Singapore’s Built Environment Industry Transformation Map. The three areas are:
1. Integrated Planning and Design (IPD)
2. Sustainable Urban Systems (SUS)
3. Advanced Manufacturing & Assembly (AMA)
The IBDC challenges the participants to address the above three areas to come up with innovative, sustainable and in-demand proposal that is holistic and resilient. It also aims to promote a better understanding and appreciation of technologies like Computational Building Information Modeling (BIM) as students are required to apply visual programming setup with BIM in their proposal.
The International Building Design Competition (IBDC) 2023 is an open-themed design competition inviting students from tertiary institutions around the world to design a new narrative for their built environment using technologies like Computational BIM, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, Game Engine and Robotic Process and Common Data Environment platforms.

Open to the public/Minimum requirements (Open to anyone that complies with the requirements), Single stage (Winners selected immediately)
Multi-disciplinary teams of 3-8 students from tertiary institutions.
