SUMMARY:Modelbouwshow.nl 2026
DESCRIPTION:Overview\n \n\nModelbouwshow.nl 2026 is the most prominent event of its kind in the entire region of Benelux. Scaled models of different kinds\, such as trains\, cars\, and even the latest technological constructions\, will be displayed. The event will be held in Zeelandhallen\, located in Goes\, Netherlands\, on February 21 and 22\, 2026. Generous portions of the event will consist of display\, workshops\, and demonstrations for visitors of different ages that varied throughout the duration of the event.\n\n \n Focus\n \n\nThe show brings together model builders of different disciplines\, radiocontrolled vehicles\, model railways\, paints\, dioramas\, and toy construction. Static displays and dynamic demonstrations\, meeting clubs and hobby groups\, and participating in activities are ways for the enthusiasts to experience. Examples of how themed exhibitions create connections between audiences and creative and technical communities can be found at the Interior Design Furnishing Expo 2026.\n\n \n Program\n \n\nModelbouwshow.nl has exhibitor booths\, interactive demonstrations\, and model action displays (land\, water\, air\, rails) plus workshops led by hobby specialists. Activities for children and adults include scavenger hunts\, brick-building contests\, and seeing complex model setups in action. This mix of engagement and exploration is similar in spirit to events like the DesignTO Festival 2026.\n\n \n “Modelbouwshow.nl serves as a comprehensive meeting place for hobbyists and families to share creativity\, craftsmanship\, and technical skill across model building disciplines.”\n\n\n \n\nAlthough the exhibit is more directed towards hobbyists than professionals\, the exhibition’s focus on hands-on interaction and community participation is in line with the major trends in experiential public events like Salone del Mobile Milano 2025.\n\n \n Audience\n \n\nThe event is aimed at the same audience as previous years – hobbyists\, families\, model builders\, collectors\, and all those who just want to experiment with scale modeling\, engineering toys\, and hands-on creativity.\n\n \n Event Details\n\n\n\nDates\nFebruary 21 – 22\, 2026\n\n\nVenue\nZeelandhallen\, Da Vinciplein 1\, Goes\, Netherlands\n\n\nEvent Type\nModel Building Show & Family Exhibition\n\n\nAccess\nOpen to the public\n\n\nFees\nOnline advance tickets: €15 for adults and €7 for children up to 12; On-site tickets: €16.50 adults and €9 children; Children under 2: Free; Family ticket: €35\n\n\n\n✦ ArchUp Editorial Insight\n \n\nModelbouwshow.nl 2026 is mainly situated in a hobby and craft context instead of an architectural or design discourse. The event opens an architectural view towards scale\, detail\, and representation but mainly as a technical reproduction instead of a critical spatial thought. Model making\, as a historical tool in architectural practice\, is still considered a recreational activity disconnected from contemporary architectural debates\, urban questions\, or material experimentation; in other words\, here it is only an amusement size. The event offers the value of craftsmanship and precision\, but its connection with architecture is indirect and limited to early-stage visualization rather than design inquiry or professional reflection.\n\n \n Closing Note\n \n\nModelbouwshow.nl 2026 still performs the role of the main hobby and family show in the Benelux region\, offering a combination of technical displays\, interactive activities\, and community engagement. Its emphasis on hands-on participation and wide appeal highlight the everlasting popularity of model building as a creative activity and a public exhibition topic.\n\n\n Explore the Latest Architecture Exhibitions & Conferences\n\nArchUp offers daily updates on top global architectural exhibitions\, design conferences\, and professional art and design forums.
