Palto - hydroponic pot

THE brief

Nothing is lost, everything is transformed.

When I accidently broke a glass goblet I had, my first thought was to throw it away, but its beautiful color and its big volume awakened the designer in me and I knew I had to do something with it.

That’s when the Palto’s idea came to me, an hydroponic pot to germinate avocado that not only reuses the glass, but also improve the aesthetic of my home, giving gorgeous caustics when the light reach it and showing the natural grow of the roots.
