The Role

Joining us as a Skills Trainer, the role supports both the internal coaching and training, along with the successful completion of competency and knowledge-based skills that form a key part in the transition through Gateway and onto End Point Assessment. Managing a dedicated caseload of Apprentices, you’ll oversee for the whole of their learning journey throughout the duration of their Apprenticeship as they progress into the Industry.

The role will also include some classroom teaching and there may be flexibility to build this role and increase the working hours as group numbers increase.

About you

We’re looking for candidates who are qualified to Level 4 NVQ in an appropriate area, with relevant experience assessing apprentices in the workplace (i.e A1/V1). You’ll have experience of motivating and leading individuals to achieve results and performance targets, with the ability to demonstrate exceptional organisational and planning skills.

A teaching qualification is also desirable.
