VAVE is a Querencia product that constitutes a resting environment, and aims at ‘complete relaxation’.
The relaxation method that we propose is to express moods such as in front of a fireplace, the sunset sky, and cool morning with light to create the ‘ideal resting environment’ that you think of yourself.
And by doing specific actions to refine the mind performed in the product, it is suggested that users can take a break that suits them.

People think listening to music or watching a movie is relaxation. But even at that moment, the brain is working frantically to process the influx of information. Let's take a look around you right now! From a computer with multiple Internet windows open, to memos stuck here and there, to text messages from mobile phones that ring nonstop! Wouldn't multitasking while seeing and hearing all these things at once will inevitably worsen your brain health? If the brain does not get enough rest, the frontal lobe function decreases, and situational judgment becomes blurred, leading to impulsive decisions. In addition, this can lead to insomnia and stress for no reason, which can even lower normal body functions.

So, quality rest doesn't just mean long rest.

Among the resting behaviors of people, simple and effective ‘space out’, which is sometimes done while looking through a window or looking at a flickering fire, is an action that can give the brain enough rest while being natural.
Adequate rest through ‘space out’ has a positive effect on how we move on to the next activity and acts as a catalyst to move on to more creative activities.

VAVE aims for the relaxation of people's thoughts and focuses on creating an environment where people can relax, not tools or means.

A slanted logo means a non-rigid state. Also, it was inspired by the original usage of ' / (slash).' It refers to the opposing state or situation before and after rest.

Reinterpretation of the fireplace

: The mood conveyed from the existing fireplace and behavioral elements such as putting in firewood and arranging it with fire are reinterpreted in a modern way. In addition to watching and inducing specific actions, we tried to create a state where people can easily organize their thoughts and minds as a relaxation method suitable for each individual.

The variously changing color of light can be interpreted and used in various ways according to the purpose of each user.

The way to relaxation

: Based on the scenario in which the user using the product is tired enough to need a break, the interaction method was interpreted. For that reason, without complicated buttons, descriptive texts, and pictograms, we made it possible to respond to the user's touch at once

How to get more relaxed

: The stick, reminiscent of firewood placed next to the fireplace, is also a sculpture in the product and is used as a tool to stir water.
The movement of fire and the visual image of splashing embers were related through the shaking of water and the appearance of water droplets forming or splashing when used, and the loading of firewood was expressed by equating it with the stirring of water with a stick.
