At the Aedes Architecture Forum, innovative design strategies are drawn from selected projects,
telling stories in a fun interactive installation about how HWKN Architecture aims to shape a better tomorrow.

with a design that enhances emotions and strengthens the life force in the public sphere.

Matthias Hollwich and his team are interested not only in the architectural possibilities in the interface between the interior and the exterior,
but also in the transformation of verticality in architecture.

Nine five-meter-high towers installed in the exhibition space symbolize the diverse formal and programmatic styles of their projects.

and Spirit Bochum, two commercial headquarters currently under construction.

The placement of the towers is designed to encourage visitors not just to look,
but to explore, interact and respond in a playful way.
As in the Blake Building, it is open with an open market surrounding its base,
or Skyler’s upbringing tower, which brings multiple generations together in one place.
Visitors to the exhibition will be invited to choose a character from a selection of puppet characters
and imagine the character to live, work or play in the building of their choice.
They can use their phones to take photos and document ideas,
and at the end of the gallery these individual inspirations about better ways to live, work,
play and build will be collected and disseminated to contribute to HWKN research and develop new ideas.
This provocative concept emphasizes the idea of using the exhibition as a research tool,
but also reflects an unusually attractive and culturally diverse approach to its implementation.
