Architect Job: Bespoke: Residential/Mixed Use Lead – Middle East

This is to join the leadership team to deliver one of the most revolutionary buildings in history, destined to be the heart and new global landmark of a key metropolis in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will be part of a highly skilled, elite team with direct engagement with the Regional Design Director, and will be interfacing with the most prestigious pool of global subconsultants currently aligned to support the project. You must be from an elite architectural background, and demonstrate experience running world scale projects within a top practice environment. This role will be an all rounded client facing/team leading/hands on design role; you will need to present a breadth of skills to be qualified for an interview.   Key Responsibilities  

  • Being the owner, key point of contact and architectural lead of a globally recognizable leisure and entertainment destination which includes residential, retail and hospitality components Architectural leadership, design, coordination, and development Ability to be hands on with design, get stuck in when needed.

Skills and Requirements  

  • Part III architectural qualification, UK or international.  Portfolio and experience designing global scale design projects Understanding of international standards and procedures Understanding of financial and commercial management of projects A keen eye for detail resolution and accuracy A team player, with a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and collaborating Ability to negotiate
