DENOISE – IED (Istituto Europeo di Design)

For the first time, IED, a global network of esteemed design and visual arts institutions, is taking part in Miami Art & Design Week with an immersive display at Alcova. Students in IED Milano’s Master Course in Visual Arts for the Digital Age created the collective video mapping artwork Denoise, which pays homage to the website as well as Gruppo T, an Italian cinematic artists group from the 1950s. The work will turn Room 35 into a multi-sensory experience by combining volumes, surfaces, and sound throughout various levels of narrative. It will encourage participants to accept the unknown—which is often associated with noise—as a necessary aspect of life.
