This international competition welcomes photographers from worldwide nations ready to hone their photography skills and their extraordinary takes on diversity, whilst portraying the majestic cultures passed down for generations. Also, In the European Photography Awards, there will always be room for innovation and talent, no matter if you are a professional or just a new enthusiast.

Moreover, Recognizing exquisite and artistic content, the awards honor vast arrays of genres in the photographic medium, extending the reach of your talents all across the globe. Also, No matter your status in the industry, your visualizations of the world and all it encases are what the awards celebrate. Unearth limitless possibilities while embarking on an outlandish voyage across the vast continent pieced together by countless diverse countries, where they combine to form a grandeur landmass.

Furthermore, Within the European Photography Awards, detailed categories are available to acknowledge exclusivity, involving Fine Art Photography, Architecture Photography, Black & White Photography, Nature Photography, People Photography, Editorial Photography, Commercial Photography, and other special categories.

This time around, the awards would like to inaugurate something unique, with the introduction of France Photography, Italy Photography, Switzerland Photography, and Germany Photography. Since the awards are not limited to those in Europe. Gain heightened honors when you obtain the title of a specified country, proving your artwork to be on an international standard.
All photography genres are acceptable, under the circumstances that it was taken within the past 5 years, starting from 2018. There are no limitations on your work, be it a photo of spontaneous moments or polished images.

Submission requirements

➜ The submissions should be saved in a flattened JPEG or JPG format. (Keep them under 4MB, 1,200px wide is preferable, 300dpi, RGB).

➜ All entries must be submitted for judging exactly as published or implemented and may not be modified for the competition. The European Photography Awards may request proof of initial production and/or publication date.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Originality (Uniqueness of Concept / Expression of Theme)
  • Creativity (Storytelling / Mood)
  • Technical Execution (Composition, Colour, Lighting, Exposure & Focus)
  • Subject Matter / Relevancy to Category Topic
  • Overall Impression / Wow Factor

Eligibility

The European Photography Awards extends its’ open arms to worldwide individuals over the age of 18, regardless of where you come from. Also, You do not have to necessarily come from Europe to be a part of the family. The awards are available on 3 primary levels, categorized under professional, amateur, and student photographers.

Prize

  • Photographer of the Year (Professional Category) will receive a $3,000 cash prize.
  • Photographer of the Year (Amateur Category) will receive a $2,000 cash prize.
  • 12 Category Winners of the Year (Professional and Amateur Categories) will receive $100 in cash prizes each.
  • All Photographer of the Year, Category Winners of the Year, and Platinum & Gold winners will receive an e-certificate.
  • Top tier (Platinum and Gold) winners will be featured on European Photography Awards site’s Gallery, where professionals can view your work.
  • The winning entries from the European Photographer of the Year, Platinum & Gold winners will be publicized on the European Photography Awards’ online gallery and any published European Photography Awards materials.

  • Early Bird Entry – (14 Apr – 11 May 2023) – $25 Professional (Single) / $35 Professional (Series)
  • Regular Entry – (12 May – 7 Jun 2023) – $30 Professional (Single) / $40 Professional (Series)
  • Final Entry – (8 Jun – 5 Jul 2023) – $35 Professional (Single) / $45 Professional (Series)
  • Final Extension Entry – (6 Jul – 2 Aug 2023) – $40 Professional (Single) / $50 Professional (Series)
