8 Standout Designs from Milan Design Week 2025
Milan Design Week 2025 (April 7–13) once again proved why it’s the world’s premier design showcase, with brands debuting everything from modular lighting to home-office hybrids. Here are eight highlights that blended form, function, and forward-thinking craftsmanship.

1. Kettal’s Recycled Aluminium Collection
Designer Ronan Bouroullec reimagined outdoor furniture with *Passage*—a sleek table and chair series crafted from recycled aluminium. Available in multiple colors and finishes, the slimline frames marry sustainability with minimalist elegance.
2. Lodes’ Tape-Connected Lighting
Studio Geckeler Michels created *Map*, a modular LED system linked by conductive tape. The customizable panels come in neutral tones and adapt to any ceiling layout, merging tech with artistic flexibility.

3. Humanscale’s Home-Friendly Sit-Stand Desk
The *eFloat Quattro* desk ditches office austerity for domestic harmony. With four slender legs (a departure from its two-legged predecessor), it offers ergonomic adjustability without sacrificing style.
4. Dornbracht’s Wellness-Optimized Shower
The *Serenity Sky* shower features five water-flow modes, housed in a sleek ceiling-mounted square panel. Its metallic finishes and spa-like functionality turn daily routines into luxury experiences.

5. Ross Gardam’s Cloud Chandeliers
Melbourne’s *Aeris* chandeliers mimic floating clouds, with mouth-blown glass shades clustered around metal frames. The pieces play with light and form, ideal for statement interiors.
6. Pierro Lissoni’s Industrial-Chic Table
For Porro, Lissoni drew inspiration from metalwork benches. The *Tablo* table—available in coffee or dining sizes—pairs a rugged metal base with marble or glass tops for contrast.

7. Gessi’s Titanium-Inspired Tapware
Bathroom brand Gessi unveiled *Titanio*, a new material mimicking titanium’s strength and lightness. The collection promises durable, timeless tapware with a metallic luster.
8. Miniforms’ Steam-Bent Wood Table
Italian studio E-ggs used steam bending to craft the *Nami* table’s undulating base. Offered in three wood finishes (oak, walnut, ash) and top shapes, it’s a sculptural nod to organic design.
