The Asian Football Confederation announced the date and stadiums of the 2027 Asian Cup, which will be held in Saudi Arabia.
The Asian Confederation and the Local Organizing Committee for the 2027 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia explained that the tournament will be held during the period from Thursday, January 7 to Friday, February 5, 2027.
The continental federation and the organizing committee approved 8 stadiums to host the finals distributed across 3 cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar.

The selected stadiums are: King Fahd Sports City, King Saud University, Imam Muhammad bin Saud University, Kingdom Arena, Al-Shabab Club, King Abdullah Sports City, Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City, and the new Al-Khobar Stadium “Aramco Stadium”.
At the end of July last year, Saudi Aramco announced the start of work on the construction of “Aramco Stadium” with a capacity of about 47,000 seats. The new stadium is expected to be completed by 2026, becoming the home stadium of Al-Qadisiyah Club, owned by Saudi Aramco.
It will also be one of the stadiums for the Asian Cup, which the Kingdom will host in 2027, according to what was officially announced today.
The design of the stadium, which is equipped with a fully air-conditioned system, is inspired by the shape of the whirlpool that is commonly seen on the coasts of the city of Khobar, as the stadium’s shape combines originality and innovation.
The stadium includes VIP suites, and facilities designed to take into account the needs of the community and people with special needs.
Aramco Stadium is part of Saudi Vision 2030, as it aims to promote sports and improve the quality of life, in addition to contributing to social and economic development by hosting international competitions and attracting tourists and investors.
