Do you have some maintenance experience, perhaps you have a passion for DIY and/or better still you might have on-site experience during maintenance, fit-out or construction? You’ll join a team of maintenance professionals, working alongside experienced and qualified colleagues, you’ll be keen to learn new skills and undertake on-the-job and formal training.

You will be part of the First Response & Building team, delivering reactive and planned maintenance across the University, where you will be central to delivering the student experience. You will be able to work with minimal supervision or in small groups, and on your own initiative, within a large and complex organisation, whilst maintaining a safe working environment for all our staff, students and visitors. You will have experience of working with a variety of materials, tools and machinery. You will have experience of using mobile technology (phones/tablets/etc), email and computer systems at work.
