Architect Job: Casual Lecturer in Bricklaying

Heart of Yorkshire Education Group are looking for a highly motivated, industry qualified individual to join our Construction team, lecturing in Bricklaying at our Selby College campus.

Working within our team, your role will be to manage learning both in the workshop and classroom environments; planning, preparing, and delivering sessions that engage and inspire our young people to progress to their full potential.

Working within our wider Construction group, you will be instrumental in the development of the future curriculum and resources for the provision.

Green Skills are a key initiative for the department, and you will have the opportunity to engage with significant professional development to inspire our students and ensure they are ready to progress to employment in the Construction sector.

Terms and Conditions:

Hours: This is a casual post with variable hours however it is expected that the post holder will work 6 hours (1 day) per week, 38 weeks per year

Holidays: Annual leave is based on the numbers of hours worked for casual employee’s and paid at 3 intervals during the year                            

Salary: up to £17.58 per hour depending on candidate experience and qualifications

All work in the College involves some degree of responsibility for safeguarding children, although the extent of that responsibility will vary according to the nature of the role. A DBS check is a requirement for this role.
