An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned professional to join a leading AJ100 architectural practice, specialising in the data centre business, as the Director of Mission Critical. This board-level role is pivotal for driving the growth, creativity, and profitability of the Mission Critical sector within the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a high-performance team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
• Develop and implement business strategies in collaboration with fellow directors to support sustainable growth.
• Oversee the management of Mission Critical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Drive business development efforts, including client engagement, networking, and proposal writing.
• Manage financial targets, reporting on profit and loss, and ensuring consistent year-on-year growth.
• Promote the wellbeing and professional development of team members through mentorship and guidance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven track record in business development within the Data Centre sector.
• Recognised professional design qualification and registration (e.g., ARB).
• Extensive experience in leading and managing Mission Critical teams.
• Strong relationships within the London commercial property market.
• Demonstrated ability to drive creativity and innovation in design and delivery.
