Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- In-depth knowledge across all RIBA stages.
- Strong leadership qualities, commitment, and genuine interest in Healthcare projects.
- Capability to run the project and lead a team effectively.

- Enhance existing fire compartmentation alongside a water misting suppression system.
- Emphasise technical detailing, especially in fire protection, leveraging misting to streamline compartment wall adjustments.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to secure fire-tested details where necessary.
- Work closely with fire engineers to devise an engineered solution.
- Engage with the Trust fire officer to finalise a new fire strategy.
- Obtain Building Regulations sign-off with the approval of Building Control.
- Navigate planning permission procedures if required.
- Generate design information with minimal layout changes.
- Develop tender packs for contractors across three phases.
- Maintain a diplomatic approach when engaging various NHS stakeholders.
Project Scale:
- Floor Area: Approximately 18,000m2
- Budget: Circa £30 million – Phases encompass clinical enhancements and backlog maintenance.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Lead a dedicated team comprising of another architect, Part 2 professionals, and technicians.
- Serve as the lead Architect overseeing the coordination of MEP and Structures.
- Conduct regular site visits to East London.
- Collaborate closely with the main contractor to address on-site queries.
- Facilitate snagging and secure approval from Trust entities, including fire officers, infection control, estates, and users.
