About the role

University College London (UCL) wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Construction Procurement and Supply Chain Management. The post holder will be based at The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, a world-leading faculty ranked #1 in the world for Built Environment studies and #1 in the UK for its research environment. The post holder will carry out teaching, research, and programme administration within the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, in the field of Construction Procurement and Supply Chain Management, consistent with the vision and mission of The School. This is an open-ended, full-time position.

About you

The successful applicant will be expected to carry out teaching, research, and programme administration within the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction consistent with the vision and mission of the School in the general area of construction ecosystems and new project delivery models, which encompasses: construction procurement and project delivery systems; contract administration; new models of procurement; and, supply chain management in project based organisations, with a particular focus on sustainability, innovation and industry transformation.

The appointee is required to have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant field, and evidence of conducting original research, reflected in the authorship of high-quality publications, or other research outputs. They will also have knowledge of leading-edge research and theory in the subject area, experience of delivering teaching to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students, and experience of teaching support and administration (i.e. curriculum design, exam boards, and use of student records systems).
