Architect Job: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Construction Management/Project Management

We are investing in our academic provision and are seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Construction Management/Project Management to join our team of experienced academic staff.  We are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic academic to make a key contribution to our academic provision through teaching, research and enterprise.

You will be able to teach and contribute to our research and enterprise portfolio in areas within the construction/project management disciplines, using industry experience to inform teaching. Our Surveying, Construction and Project Management group covers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses where you will be expected to take an active role in teaching in the subject areas.

We welcome applicants with a degree in a construction/project management related subject and either experience in practice or academia who have a good understanding of the issues facing the industry and how they are currently being dealt with in the area. A strong understanding of the management of projects especially within the construction industry is desirable as the postholder will be expected to undertake teaching on the construction management and project management related modules as well as other areas. Corporate membership or eligibility for corporate membership of a relevant professional body would be essential.

You will join the School of the Built Environment, Engineering and Computing based at our City Campus and contribute to the delivery of our growing undergraduate and postgraduate provision.
