We are seeking an outstanding individual to provide research leadership within the Reading School of Architecture.  The position presents a rare opportunity to play a leading role in the evolution of a new research-intensive School of Architecture in one of the world’s top 200 universities.  

Responsibilities are focussed on consolidating and evolving the active research agenda, identity and interdisciplinary strengths of current research in the School of Architecture, in the School of the Built Environment and other relevant schools within the wider university.

You will have:

  • A passion for delivering and nurturing high quality, impactful research.
  • A commitment to collaboration and to developing others through effective leadership.
  • Experience of leading successful funding applications.
  • Experience of research and teaching in a higher education context.
  • A profile of academic achievement and activity commensurate with a professorial appointment.
