The School of Civil Engineering and Built Environment is seeking a highly motivated researcher to work on specified research grants and/or projects as a research assistant.
You will have experience of qualitative and/or mixed methods research techniques, for example, semi-structured interviews, observations and online surveys. Other attributes such as design presentation skills, e.g., graphic & PowerPoint design, the ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines, and excellent communication and writing skills are essential.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for literature searching, recruiting participants, conducting interviews, compiling datasets, contributing to data analysis and the publication of manuscripts as well as compiling project reports.
The post will commence in November 2022 for a period of 18 months.
