Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Teaching Fellow in Digital Landscape Design within UCD School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy.

The School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy has an international reputation as a centre of excellence for research and teaching in a multidisciplinary School ranked in the QS top 150. The School offers the only Landscape Architecture programme in Ireland, with the School having established an excellent reputation for design excellence with its faculty and adjunct staff maintaining an international profile.

Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Fellow in Digital Landscape Design. Applicants should possess an ability to integrate digital knowledge and skill, digital thinking and digital production into Landscape Architecture’s studio-oriented programmes. They should be a productive and collaborative researcher and capable of working with a range of software dealing with the analysis, adaptation, and creation of designed environments at large landscape scales.

Applicants must have a relevant graduate level qualification, academic or professional practice experience, and a relevant research background. Applicants must be self-starters, have high-quality administrative and organisational experience, evidencing potential to develop projects or programmes, a thorough understanding and knowledge of the role of research and publication as a basis for research-informed teaching, excellent interpersonal skills, and a capacity and enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary context within the School and the wider University.

Fixed salary: €40,000 per annum

Closing date: 17:00hrs (local Irish time) on the 14th of February 2024
