Updates on engineering and architecture jobs available around the world

Package: Specialist and Supporting Academic grade 6 from £34866 to £45163 per annum. Subject to annual pay award.

These prestigious, highly competitive 2-year Research Fellowships offer a rare opportunity for outstanding postdoctoral scholars to establish their own ambitious research agenda, develop their skills as independent researchers, and position themselves as future research leaders. We value the contribution that postdoctoral researchers make to our research community and will provide a package of support, including a Loughborough University academic mentor, dedicated training, and specialist Fellowship advice. During the VCIRF, you will be expected to submit applications for externally funded Research Fellowships, to set you on a trajectory to accelerate your research career.

Your PhD (or other doctoral qualification) must have been awarded between 2nd December 2021 and 2nd December 2024. This means any corrections following your viva examination must have been completed to the examiners’ satisfaction by the closing date for applications.

In light of the ongoing unrest and wars around the globe, we will prioritise one VCIRF for an academic at immediate risk from war or conflict.

Join us and together we can make a difference. Find out more details from our website

We will be running a webinar for potential applicants to learn about the scheme on 14th November, 12.30-13.15. Follow this link to register.

The closing date for applications is 2nd December at midnight UK time.

Interview dates are expected to take place during the week commencing 24th February 2025 for all Schools and Strategic Themes.
