The 17th International Architecture Exhibition will run 22 May to 21 November 2021, curated by architect and scholar Hashim Sarkis. “The world is putting new challenges ahead of architecture – stated Sarkis. I anticipate to working with participating architects from round the world to imagine together how we are getting to rise to those challenges.”

Hashim Sarkis has been Dean of the varsity of Architecture and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) since 2015. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design, and a PhD in Architecture from Harvard University . he’s the author and editor of several books and articles on modern architecture history and theory.
