The School of Art and Design is internationally recognized and award-winning, with a tradition of innovation since 1843. The School is a dynamic environment which embraces innovation in teaching, research and professional practice and offers exciting undergraduate and postgraduate courses including, automotive and product design, fine art, illustration, interior and graphic design, fashion, games art and architecture.

The Curriculum Lead for Industrial Design will report to the Head of School. The post will lead and manage BA Auto/transport, BA Product, BSC Architecture, M-Arch, BA Interior Architecture and Design, MA Auto/Transport, MA Product Design Innovation and MA Interior Design and will support the School and Faculty in its CPD and KTP objectives.

This post provides the opportunity for talented and ambitious individuals who wish to continue their academic development by leading on this key pillar of activity, while acquiring further managerial experience and skills. You will be expected to network proactively and develop partnerships at a national and international level to ensure opportunities for the School are identified and delivered.

All roles will require a PhD (or an equivalent level of professional standing alongside a postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject), and have experience in a relevant subject area, with a track record of academic excellence and innovative.
