This year’s Metaverse Architecture Biennale (MAB) takes place from September 21-24, 2023.
Themed, Presence of the Future, the event will bring together leading innovators around the world
to demonstrate the importance of architecture and design in reshaping Web3 and Metaverse as a powerful platform for business and culture.
The Metaverse Architecture Biennale showcases pavilions and virtual worlds inspired by the Venice Biennale and Expo,
created by architects at the forefront of digital design with names such as
Killa Design, LAVA, PLP, ATRIUM, Soomeen Hahm, Spaces DAO, DA! Il Prisma, SA lab and iheartblob
Mariana Cabugueira Studios, Illusorr and Drew Gilbert, as well as fifteen notable designers selected through open calls.
Decentraland and W3rlds, two iconic platforms of the Metaverse, will serve as venues,
creating an immersive experience for visitors.
Attendees will have the opportunity to move between these two worlds, explore virtual pavilions, and participate in interactive exhibits.
Connect with a global community of creators.
This online event will be free and open to all, requiring only a computer to access the platforms.

The first Metaverse Architecture Biennale is a visionary initiative that will serve as a platform to showcase the innovative potential of the Metaverse and explore its impact on various industries.
During the 4 days, the participants will have the opportunity to interact with the virtual booths created by the top designers,
Attend engaging talks and presentations, and discover advanced corporate solutions in the Metaverse.
The event will feature renowned architectural firms, industry leaders and visionary creators who are at the forefront of this digital revolution.
An open call has already been launched for virtual creators to select international talent and showcase their projects among the big names of the Biennale.
In addition to the Biennale’s ‘Build’ environment, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in cultural
and entertainment events, lectures, public talks, an architecture carnival, and more.
The public program will be published closer to the event and will include experts from the fields of Architecture,
Metaverse, Design and Marketing.
With over 50,000 expected visitors, 10 major companies and an open call for prizes,
This event offers a unique opportunity to contribute to web3 technologies and gain exposure to a global audience.
The organizers promise to hold various pre-event activations to allow the audience
to get more familiar with the Metaverse platforms, Web3 technologies, and virtual architecture and design topics.
