The competition E17 seeks proposals for 51 different sites across Europe. It challenges participants to “re-imagine architectures by taking care of inhabited milieus”, in ways that spare natural resources and common goods, and encourage recycling processes and hybridization.

Europan is an organization that addresses today’s urban, landscape, and architectural design challenges. It organizes this competition with 12 European countries.

For each site, 18 000€ of prizes are given by international juries. The winning projects will be published and exhibited, and debates between winning teams and cities will be organized throughout Europe. A part of the winning teams will be involved in the processes of implementation

Entries for Europan 17 close on 30 July 2023. The results will be announced on 4 December 2023.
