Günther Domenig: At four locations in Carinthia, the exhibition DIMENSIONAL presents the architect’s work in its entirety for the first time, contextualized by modern artistic and architectural positions.
While Günther Domenig’s influence on modern architectural production is the main focus of the Architekturhaus, the Museum of Modern Art examined the relationship between art and architecture.
Furthermore, the Domenig Steinhaus and Heft/Hüttenberg are exhibition pieces in and of themselves that are actively engaged by the artists.
Through the use of performance, Tanzquartier Wien challenges the physicality of the Domenig Steinhaus.
The former state exhibition building in the Heft will open to the public for the first time in many years. And it will display modern artistic interventions and works created by students from particular art and architecture universities.
