The International Excellence Awards (IEA), presented by the Architecture & Design Community (ADC) in collaboration with Design Skill Magazine, is a prestigious global competition celebrating architectural and design excellence. This event honors groundbreaking projects that redefine creativity, sustainability, and innovation in the built environment.
Redefining Recognition
The IE Awards revolutionize evaluation with a merit-based system that ensures fairness and inclusivity. Rather than traditional rankings, projects are independently scored by an esteemed jury on a 1-10 scale, with awards granted based on the final average score:
- Platinum IEA (9-10 points): Recognizing the highest achievements in architectural and design excellence.
- Gold IEA (7.5-8.9 points): Celebrating outstanding contributions that inspire the industry.
- Silver IEA (6-7.4 points): Acknowledging projects with significant creative and design value.
- Bronze IEA (4.5-5.9 points): Honoring notable creative accomplishments in architecture and design.
Who Can Participate?
The IE Awards welcomes all designers and architects, from students and emerging professionals to leading firms and established studios. There are no restrictions on project type or stage—both conceptual and completed works are eligible.
Submission Guidelines
Participants can submit diverse presentation materials, including:
- Visual Content: Renderings, sketches, diagrams, plans, sections, collages, photographs, and graphics.
- Written Description: A project brief (maximum 3,000 characters).
- Images: A cover image plus up to 8 additional images in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format (maximum file size 5 MB each).
