International Illustration Competition 2021
The 2021 International Illustration Competition, organized by Archzig in collaboration with ArchiterraX, invited participants to submit an illustration on a freely chosen theme. This archive entry preserves the competition’s format, timetable and awards for reference.
Timetable
The initial call listed registration for 15 April 2021 and submission for 16 April 2021, both at 12:00 a.m. IST. The organizer’s later brief listed registration on 20 April, submission on 25 April and the planned results announcement on 10 May 2021, also at 12:00 a.m. IST.
Submission requirements
Entrants could choose any subject for their illustration and had to include a short explanation of 50 to 100 words. The artwork had to use a square artboard, with the Unique Registration Code, or URC, placed in the upper right corner.
Submissions were required as a PDF no larger than 5 MB. The URC had to be used as both the filename and the email subject. The designated submission address was submissions.archzig@gmail.com, while enquiries were directed to mail.archzig@gmail.com.
Prizes and results
The announced prize fund totalled INR 20,000. Ten honourable mentions received certificates and publication, and all participants were offered appreciation certificates.
The organizer’s published results list Eva Sofia Honorio Alejo in first place, Prashant Kashyap in second and Jade Jang in third.
