The Design Challenge
Architects Jan Sedláček and Václav Navrátil faced a unique challenge: the owner’s desire to build a residence that embodies the traditional Wallachian style while providing all modern comforts. Rather than settling for one approach, they decided to design a house with two distinct faces, each reflecting a unique architectural experience.
The Eastern Facade: A Traditional Touch
Approaching from the east, visitors will notice familiar elements of the region: small windows, deep roof eaves, and traditional wooden cottage shadows.
