The ‘Light Kyeol’ series is a lighting series created using the relationship between the past Changhoji and candles. I wanted to express the charm of hanji more abundantly by reinterpreting the properties of hanji that reveal the texture as light is projected and the usability of hanji from the past window paper. The color and shape of Korean paper can be configured according to the user’s taste, and the brightness of the lighting can be adjusted accordingly. The floor formation is sculpted in relation to the shadow cast from the frame of the light, and it becomes a medium that naturally connects the frame and the light.
