Meet Me Under a Roof of Leaves: The Use of Plants in the Design of Urban Spaces

We see the climate crisis clearly indicating that new social, aesthetic, economic, and ecological values must be discussed and established. This also concerns the question of the possibilities of a climate-friendly transformation of our cities.

The exhibition “Meet Me Under a Roof of Leaves” shows examples from architecture, horticulture, and art, with a particular focus on the use of plants in the design of urban spaces. The focus is on Filmwerkstatt’s current research on the path toward a climate-neutral institution. Accompanying this, we will show a film program dealing with the central aspects of the exhibition. Furthermore, we would like to link different areas of knowledge with workshops and a symposium to open up valuable spaces for action in which the change can be realized.
