Kunstwerk Carlshütte recently organized the exhibition Nord Art 2023 with an international invitation for artists.

Nord Art 2023 is a non-profit cultural initiative and is one of the largest annual international exhibitions of contemporary art in Europe.

This represents all aspects of the visual arts.

About the competition

NordArt 2023 International Call for Artists, one of the most important contemporary art fairs in Europe organized by the Kunstwerk Carlshütte.

It was recently opened for entries inviting artists from all over the world to submit their work.

In addition, NordArt is one of the largest protected galleries of contemporary art in Europe,

and represents all aspects of the visual arts:

  • Coloring
  • Draw
  • Picture
  • Video
  • Sculpture
  • Goal
  • Installations
  • Performance
  • Else

The sculptures, paintings, photographs and installations of more than 200 selected artists (world-renowned as well as newcomers)

from all over the world have come together as a monumental piece of art.

In addition, the jury will select the artists by mid-February 2023. The jury consists of the artists,

the art historian, the supervisory board and the management.

NordArt awards an annual award to one artist, so the award winner is announced at the end of the exhibition.

He is invited to participate in NordArt again, and the awards ceremony is held at the opening of NordArt the following year.

Application requirements

  • Artist CV, Word or PDF file, maxes. 1 MB.

Additional Materials (Optional): Texts, Articles, Reviews, Word or PDF file, max. 1MB.

  • Choose a field (drawing, sculpture, installation, picture, etc.). Multiple selections are possible.
  • Upload artwork images, which can be viewed in NordArt: Up to 10 files 1 MB max Single file.

Formats: JPG, GIF, PNG, PDF Fill text fields with information. Web Link field: A link to a video or image file.

Eligibility 

Artists from all over the world can apply to participate in the exhibition.

Prize

The NordArt Prize is worth €10,000.

Delegation The three General Choice Awards are awarded €1,000 each and come with an invitation to participate in NordArt the following year.

The three winning artists will also be invited to the award ceremony.
