Qiddiya Investment Company has signed a strategic agreement with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, one of the world’s leading amusement park operators, to manage and operate Aquarabia Water Park and Six Flags Qiddiya within the massive Qiddiya project west of Riyadh.
Project Areas
-Aquarabia Water Park: The park will span an area of **50,000 square meters and will feature more than 22 water attractions, including giant water slides, wave pools, and dedicated children’s areas.
- Six Flags Qiddiya: The amusement park will cover an area of 150,000 square meters and will include over 28 aerial rides, some of which will be the largest of their kind in the region.

Agreement Details
- Agreement Duration: The agreement spans 20 years with the possibility of extension.
- Investments: Initial investments in the project are estimated at over 1.5 billion Saudi Riyals.
- Job Creation: The project is expected to create more than 3,000 direct jobs and 10,000 indirect jobs during its operational phases.
Key Attractions and Facilities
- Aquarabia: The water park will feature water slides reaching heights of up to 40 meters as well as the largest covered water area in the region.
- Six Flags: The amusement park will include aerial rides exceeding 50 meters in height featuring attractions that are the first of their kind in the Middle East.

It is worth noting that the Qiddiya project is one of the most prominent entertainment initiatives in Saudi Arabia, aiming to become a global destination for entertainment, culture, and sports, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
