Saudi Arabia is witnessing a dynamic architectural shift that echoes its ambitious national vision. The Municipality of Al Khobar has announced that over 95% of the Bayfront project, a new waterfront tourism destination, is now complete. Simultaneously, construction on the Diriyah development continues to advance steadily. The Khobar and Diriyah projects reflect Saudi Arabia’s modernisation efforts. This development is known as the “City of Earth” and is one of the most significant heritage projects in the world.

Bayfront A New Coastal Landmark Driving Local Growth

Spanning 100,000 square metres, the Bayfront project includes 24 commercial units, a public leisure beach, and a curated selection of international restaurants and cafés. The Khobar and Diriyah projects aim to drive tourism and economic growth in Al Khobar, as envisioned by their developers. It offers a vibrant urban environment aligned with the goals of Vision 2030.

According to the municipality, the final phases of work are currently underway. The construction team is applying the finishing touches in preparation for the official opening
