Overview

Launched in 1999, the AR Emerging Awards recognize young architects and celebrate the architectural stars of tomorrow. These awards were established as a response to prestigious lifetime achievement honors like the Pritzker Prize, offering early recognition to emerging talents and propelling them onto the global stage.

Over the years, the awards have spotlighted notable architects such as Carla Juaçaba, Shigeru Ban, Rick Joy, Anna Heringer, Sou Fujimoto, Thomas Heatherwick, Neri & Hu, Li Xiaodong, and Frida Escobedo.
