Updates on engineering and architecture jobs available around the world
MA Arch Architecture at Central Saint Martins invites applications for Associate Lecturers and Visiting Practitioner teaching positions.
Successful candidates will be added to a pool who can be matched to staffing needs that arise over a 12-month period. This could include tutoring, delivering seminar and workshop activities, or developing course materials.
Successful candidates will be expected to play a key role in preparing graduates for employment in architectural practice, urban design, planning, development, and public consultation.
Working in-person or digitally as required, responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of a team to deliver academic units (modules) that include staff-led and student-initiated project briefs
- Providing considered feedback on student work and conducting assessments which are rigorous, clear and fair
Staff who take on hourly-paid roles often find them to be a productive way to become immersed in our environment, develop their practice as academics, and gain experience that may help them in later applications to more substantive or permanent roles within our programme.
