Your new practice:
They are a Liverpool based practice, set in a vibrant, modern office on the outskirts of the City Centre. Established over 30 years ago, they have built a reputation for high-quality, cutting-edge design, with a collaborative and considerate approach. They are no stranger to family commitments and will happily let staff member’s children spend some time in the office on those days when organising childcare just isn’t an option. The friendly and welcoming team have multiple staff who have been with the practice for over 10 years and often enjoy team events both in and out of office hours. The practice consists of a team of 15, including Architects, Interior Designers and QSs who are experienced across a range of sectors. They also provide Principal Designer services for their clients working mainly in Health, Education, Community and Rail sectors. You will be working across all RIBA stages, in a hands-on, dynamic role. Most of their projects range from £200,000 to around £4Million but the projects in their pipeline are up to around £10Million, with a clear business plan to ensure this growth of projects and contracts sizes are increased. They are on major public sector frameworks, ensuring a regular supply of challenging projects.
The job role:
Working closely with the experienced and hands-on directors, you will be working on a variety of projects across the Education and Healthcare sectors, ensuring regular communication with clients, preparing and overseeing the preparation of architectural plans, specifications, and drawings, and representing the practice in various networking events and client meetings.
What you need to succeed:
A healthy working knowledge of either AutoCAD or Revit software, experience with Healthcare and Education projects and excellent written, communication and personal presentation skills.
