An exciting opportunity for Highways/groundworker tutor Colleges. This role is temporary 37 hrs per week.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about teaching and learning and have the drive and motivation to help students to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ability to deliver level 2 Highways and Ground works to apprentices. You may currently be working in the Construction industry and looking for your first job in teaching. You will have a passion for innovation, bringing new ideas and embedding new technologies into the learning environment.
Working as part of the Construction team you will be responsible for the delivery and development of fulltime courses. You will possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of the construction industry and be able to plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques.
You will hold a teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one within an agreed timescale. An Assessor and Internal Verifiers qualification is also desirable.
Previous teaching experience would be a distinct advantage but is not essential as full training and support will be provided.
