Tresham College, are currently recruiting for a Lecturer – Carpentry/Joinery at our Corby and Wellingborough campus.

Lecturers at Tresham , play a pivotal role in the success of our students through the following:

  • To prepare, deliver and assess subject specialisms on a range of courses, specifically focussing on Carpentry/Joinery to Level 3
  • To undertake course administration as necessary.
  • To lead and contribute to curriculum developments within the Programme Area/Centre.

Ideal candidates will have experience of Carpentry or Joinery, alongside the following qualifications:

  • Recognised Teacher Qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTS) or willing to work towards
  • Carpentry/Joinery Advanced Craft / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Willingness to achieve Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 or equivalent if not already held.

Tresham College has three main sites in Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough, each with impressive modern buildings.  Across our sites we offer a range of subjects including art & design, construction, engineering, motor vehicle, hairdressing and beauty therapy and more in support of our local communities.

About The Bedford College Group
