We are looking for a dedicated and passionate academic who brings research expertise in Indoor Air and contributes to academic leadership in the area of Building Physics. Indoor Air is an area of growing international importance with a strong awareness of the relationships between health and sustainability in the built environment. We are looking to expand our capacity in this area to build on our existing international reputation. You will join the Water, Public Health and Environmental Engineering Research Group in the School of Civil Engineering and you will contribute to teaching on our undergraduate and Masters programmes, including supporting the application of building physics principles in Architecture design projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary research groups across the University and externally to develop new collaborations.

Holding a PhD in building physics, air quality or a relevant discipline, or bringing equivalent experience from industry or a research organisation, you will have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in research. This includes publications in peer-reviewed journals, successful research grant applications, and key presentations at national and international conferences. You will also have a record of teaching in an undergraduate or postgraduate environment in the field.
